I had a small issue with a circuit breaker over Australia Day, and it was fixed as promised the next day, despite the electrician having a long distance to travel to find an obscure part.

I first came across recommendations for AHE on Whirlpool in early 2010 but had to hold off due to a house renovation which involved roof changes. When I came back to look again in September and saw even more positive comments I had no hesitation in proceeding with Andrew and his team.  A very “well oiled machine” leading up to the install answered all my questions and the team on the day did a superb professional job. They kept me in the loop all the way so each step was clear and agreed before anything was actually done and at the end gave me a very clear run-down of the system.  I also engaged the L2 electrician (Frank) who Leeanne arranged a quote for and he turned up 2 days later to install the new Solar meter (and Smart Meter). Frank also spent time explaining everything to me and I was immediately online and sending kW back to the grid! Therefore in the whole process Andrew’s team arranged all the paperwork etc. and I never had to communicate directly with my distributor – a massive benefit having read some accounts on the web!
The system has been performing very well ever since the install (Andrew’s team managed to fit in all 18 Upsolar panels into our main North facing section for optimum access to the sun with the bonus of being completely hidden by adjacent gables!)
In summary I would not hesitate to recommend Andrew and his team.

I done a lot of research before making my mind up and going with AHE, thank goodness for these internet forums. I had earlier decided to go with another company, but reading about a few negative posts made me change my mind. It has been one of the best decision i have made this year.

From my first contact with AHE, we had nothing but great service.  Michael really does get a lot of questions, all of which were answered quickly and clearly.

The day of the install was a wet and miserable one, but the team got to work and had most of it done by midday - then the rain set in.  Early next morning, the job was completed and the grid connection arranged for the following day.  System was up and running before the kids left for school.

I still had a few questions post-installation, and the after sales service has been second-to-none as well.

Well i got pretty frustrated with what to do and options available  and sent many emails to Michael with quick responses actually thought at one stage he must be getting pretty sick of all these questions.Anyway to his credit he gave me good communication on every thing and we booked in the job it went on time installers were great and  the system is all ok . Even the grid connection was done the next day a 6am .Just need some sunny days  and get rid of this rain to see its performance. So as far as i am concerned  i had very good service.

I was very impressed with the whole experience of dealing with your company. Michael is a professional non pushy sales person and answered all my questions promptly. Donna pushed forward my install day at my request. Very pleased with the solar installation with AHE for the following:
- prompt reply
- answers all questions with in same day
- shows up on the day they say they would
- detailed and professional installation
- data cable connection to PC with all required converters
- panel and gross meter installation on the same day
- clean up and vacuum after installation

I highly recommend AHE and congratulations on job well done.

Communication was good: prompt responses to e-mails; phone call week before install

Install was quick: 4 weeks from signing and thry came on the date agreed. This was important to me because I was wary of the government rebates being reduced after I'd signed up but before I was connected.

Meter was connected following day.

Only negative was damage to gyprock wall while they were trying to get the cable from the roof down to the meter between the brick outside wall and the internal plasterboard. Agreed to knock off $200 to compensate, which I thought was reasonable.

Overall: very happy.

I like to thank AHE for the commitment and service for the installation of my solar panel. The team of professional tradesmen came on time and schedule and finished the job under 5 hours. I was also very impressed that the L2 electrician was at my place the following morning at 6.30am to instsall the gross meter. The system is all up and running and I am pretty happy that my 2.4kW system generated nearly 12kW today. I have no hesitation to recommend AHE to my freinds and neighbours. Well done guys!

After being stuffed around with another solar company from Jan-Jun with promise after promise I finally pulled to the plug on them and moved over to AHE because of the feedback on Whirlpool and from a work mate.

After hearing my sad story the guys at AHE bent over backwards for me and got me up and running with my 3kW system in just 2 weeks

It only took them half a day, they did a great neat job (tilting the panels with no fuss) and the system was connected to the grid the next day.

I have no hesitation in recommending AHE to anyone looking for a solar installer that is professional and will deliver when they say they will.

I had signed with another installer but they couldn't deliver after 5 months of waiting. After I saw good feedback from others on Whirlpool, I received a very competitively priced quote and with only a 3-4 week wait.

Andrew also held the quoted price despite upgrading to higher rated panels and a drop in REC price. The system was installed on the expected day and the L2 electrician completed the meter work the next day. What a smooth experience and here's to more sunshine.

Thankyou to the whole team at AHE for the work done from the initial consultation on the most suitable system for my home to the final switch being installed. Indeed a competent professional group of people who I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending.

I have no doubt that from time to time that Andrew drives his installation team crazy with his attention to detail..... a corner of one panel a couple of millimetres higher in one corner needs to be fixed before he is happy!

After deciding on a solar installation and looking at the raving feedback on Whirlpool for AHE, I signed up to have my system installed by them.

Less then a month later, I can say that I couldn't be happier with the whole process.  Plenty of communication with Michael/Andrew/Leeanne that kept me in the loop with all that was happening.

Great Service, what can I say!!

After months calling around different companies asking them questions, i finally decided to go with AHE!

all other companies were giving out lead times for installations of months!! but AHE installed within 3 weeks!!! GOOD JOB!

I literally just had the installation done today, they had great customer service, good manners etc.

I have had LPG/insulation/rain water tank rebates and the BEST thing about AHE they take care of ALL.. YES ALL the paperwork.. so i dont need to keep chasing the government for the rebate money back :) :)

I highly recommend them, without a doubt!

After reading reviews on various forums, I decided to contact AHE for my installation. I was already signed up with another company, but was so impressed after speaking with Andrew who was able to answer all my questions, I cancelled with the other mob.

4 weeks later I have a great system installed, even with the current shortage on inverters. Everyone else I spoke to couldn't confirm when they would be able to do the installation, and with AHE I am already generating power. Everything looks great - cabling well tied back and conduit when needed is located inconspicuously in the corners. Great attention to detail by the entire AHE team. All the guys were professional and dedicated to getting a large system installed before sundown.

I would not hesitate to recommend AHE to anyone considering a PV system and will use them again if I ever move.

Took just under a month from quote acceptance to fully functioning system. Their prices were very competitive. They handled all the paperwork, including application for a gross meter, and arranged for a level 2 electrician to install it.

I was concerned as there was no site inspection prior to the install, and could easily have ordered too many panels for my roof space. However, Andrew turned up on the day, and advised on panel siting, orientation and shadowing from surrounding structures (discussion done on my roof!). While I am no expert, the work looks solid, and wiring is neat. As mentioned, rubbish was cleared before leaving.

In summary, it was an efficient and painless solar install, and I'd be happy to recommend this team. Here's to sunny days!

Just had my 4.4kw system installed. I am extremely pleased with the team from AHE. Not only did they do the install on a miserable and drizzling day, but they also repaired the roof which was found to be in pretty poor state when opened up. Andrew made a few calls and brought in more people to be able to finish the job quicker. He pays a lot of attention to details, so wiring is hidden, boxes are straight and evenly spaced out, etc. Also on top of that, they found an issue in the switch board, and also fixed that. He checks everything after his team has finished to make sure its done right. After they finished, they checked everything, even the solar pool heater to make sure everything is working fine. They also not only broomed the place up, but also mopped up as well.. what other tradesman would do that? Very highly recommended.. great prices with great service. When you get a job done by AHE, you can trust it will be done properly.

AE electrical have just completed installation of my 3kW solar electricity installation after being given the go ahead just two weeks ago. Everyone I have dealt with especially Leeanne and Andrew  and the whole team have been extremely helpful with information, booking in the job and carrying out the install. The panels were installed within 3 weeks of placing my order, and the meter a couple weeks after that. A very professional job, they took great care to make sure everything was perfect, checked and double checked everything and went to a lot of trouble to run the cabling inside the wall to the meter box even though I have practically no cavity in the wall (house is over 100 years old).

Very happy with AHE and would recommend them to anyone looking for a high quality professional installation.

It's not often you get a good product at a great price, backed up by good old fashion quality service. But Leeanne, Andrew and Team have performed an impeccable job on the install of our solar system. More importantly, the process from start to finish have been nothing but flawless. Only slight issue we had was the availability of the panels we wanted but to no fault of AHE as products were held up through customs. Even with this small delay of 1 week, Leeanne kept us informed throughout the time and once panels were available, we had a date set for the install.
